Serial vs i2c, is there any major difference?

Hi All,
Is there any pros/cons between serial and i2c?
Or is it just an application/designer specific thing? (ie chose what you like/what works)

Working on an embedded design (microcontroller) and looking to add Notecard support via Notecarrier AE.

Hi Neil,
If you are just talking 1 device to 1 device, then we use either depending on available ports on the host MCU.
Pop over and talk to Nathan, he has set up both with Notecard and Carrier AL, and will be happy to give you any feedback you like.
